Concert life

It started snowing in London last week. What a beautiful city! Leaving for a while, I decided to write something again here. I have been great lately, focusing on my concerts and doing the hard work everyday. Only one thing just let me down a little. Chris denied me to keep my research on Chopin’s music because he said it wouldn’t be unique to be my thesis, instead, the research on British piano concertos is the one I am interested in, in particular the No. 1 piano concerto from Alan Rowsthorne I have been practicing a lot. The next performance is about to happen on March and I am totally not ready for it, which I don’t think I can finish so well. Lee seemed angry for that, because I kept complaining how hard this piece was. Now I have realized doing PhD is really harder than I expected. Anyway, I am still alive, for my dream.

Leon and I are going to Scotland next week, which is the only thing that cheer me up so far. I will have a lot pictures there. How excited! Sometimes, I do wanna give up, but just sometimes. I know I won’t at least. That’s for the best. Keep going, everything will be abso-fucking-lutely fine.
